Damage Protection:
Please note, as a software connected property management company, we require damage protection for all reservations to help keep operations running smoothly. You can choose between a smart damage waiver or a refundable security deposit.
Choose your protection option:
1) Smart Damage Waiver – covers accidental damage up to $2,500. No deposit hold required.
or
2) Refundable Security Deposit ($2,500) – temporary hold, automatically released within 7 days after checkout, subject to inspection.
Note: The waiver covers accidental damage only. It does not cover smoking, intentional damage, negligence, policy violations, pet issues, or unregistered guests. In these cases, related costs may be charged to you in accordance with the booking platform’s policies and our guest agreement.
Parking notes: There is free parking for 2 vehicles on the drive way (Garage is locked for Owner Use)
Additional cars should park in the Happy Valley overflow parking lot at a cost of $20 per night or $100 per week. Permits must be purchased from Big White Mountain Central Mountain Check-In (winter only).

Located in 'Summit Peaks' - One of the best ski in/out access points on the mountain! The ski run 'Sun Run' runs adjacent to the building and the TELUS Park is a stone’s throw away. Great for both day & night skiing yet close to the Village center and all the amenities located there. One of our more popular locations on the mountain!

Space
This one of a kind chalet sits directly next to the ski run 'Sun Run' and provides the most accessible ski in/ski out access on the mountain! Centrally located, you are right above the Big White Village Centre. You also have access to a private Hot Tub after a tireless day of riding!
Sitting in the heart of the village area of the resort, you will be within walking distance of the lifts, restaurants, shops, and cafes. Winter will be ideal for skiing, yet summer months can be spent hiking and biking along pristine trails. Plus, a local market is mere steps away as well to stock up on necessities.
In-between ski sessions you’ll be able to relax next to the fireplace, taking in views up the hill, or just unwinding while watching Netflix. We also have Telus Optik TV in every bedroom and living room.
With mountain décor and plenty of room for everyone to spread out, no one will have trouble kicking back on the plush sofas as a movie plays on the flat screen TV. When everyone works up an appetite, the chef of the group will love hopping into the full kitchen to whip up warm meals on modern appliances. When the sun begins to go down, slip into your bathing suit and soak in the hot tub until the stars come out.

Skiers' Doorstep is located in the Upper Village, which is about a 10 minute walk down the road to the Village Centre. Shuttle service is available throughout the winter if you do not desire to walk up or down to the Village. Shuttle service runs until 10:30pm and the schedule can be found on the Big White website.
Another benefit to enjoying our amazing ski-in/ski-out feature is that you can simply ski down to the store or restaurants and take the lift back up and ski right back to our chalet. It’s not uncommon to see someone skiing down the hill with a case of beer on the way to their hot tub! You can also ski down at night because our home is just off of the lit run during night skiing (Bullet Chair runs until 8pm when night skiing is running)!
Rules
Additional: By booking this home you agree to the rules and conditions outlined below. Should there be a conflict between the Airbnb Terms and Conditions, and those listed on the link herein, then the terms most favourable to us as the Host shall take effect. No one likes rules, least of all, us -- but we do have a few requirements so that the home is in as perfect a shape for each guest as possible. - Check-in: 4pm-10pm - Checkout: 10am - Primary renter must be over the age of 30 (unless approved by Duval), have a fully verified profile and previous positive reviews inside Airbnb. - Host may request a photocopy of the renter's ID for verification before check-in. - This is a private property and the host reserves the right to access the property at any time to perform maintenance repairs necessary or requested by the renter. During your stay we may have third party vendors who attend to the home performing tasks including but not limited to tasks like landscape maintenance and pest control; by booking our home you acknowledge and agree to allow these services, not prevent them from occurring or claiming they’ve interrupted your use and enjoyment of the property and no refunds or credits are available in such instance This Short Term Rental Agreement is between Duval Management Ltd. (herein referred to as “Manager” or “Property Manager”) on behalf of and in accord with the Property Owner ("Owner") and you as Guest (or “Occupant” or “Renter”) of the date set forth on the reservation details confirmation noted on the confirmation which shall be received by the Parties via email as well as provided in the Airbnb.com software. For good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency of which is acknowledged, the parties hereby agree as follows: SMOKING: A $1000 fine will be charged to the Occupant if there is any evidence of smoking inside or outside of the property within a 20’ radius of the property. Fire and Fire Safety. Occupant is notified that the Property may be located in an area susceptible to fire, and as such Occupant agrees all conform with all applicable fire codes of any governmental authority, and ensure safe and reasonable use, management, and extinguishment of any fire places, bbq's, smoking (if permitted), fire pits and any other device or act involving the risk of fire. In the event Occupant discovers any fire related safety issues, Occupant shall immediately inform Manager and cease and desist immediately from undertaking, or continuing usage until inspection, remediation (if necessary) and written approval by Manager that use is permitted. Flammable substances and solids, such as gasoline, benzene, naphtha, cleaning fluids, explosives, and fireworks may not be used or stored on the Property. Lighted candles, incense, kerosene lamps, halogen lamps and tenant installed electric heaters may not be used in the Property. ALL COOKING MUST BE CONFINED TO DESIGNATED COOKING AREAS. Use of electrical appliances not provided with the Property, such as hot plates, heating coils, coffeepots, popcorn poppers, electric frying pans, toaster ovens, irons, and electric heaters are prohibited. Storage or placement of any items (including trash, bicycles, boxes, furniture, etc.) in public areas such as corridors, stairwells, or balconies is prohibited. Any and All decorations used in the Property shall be flameproof or fire resistant materials. Any additional lighting (i.e. Christmas lights) must be Management approved with proper installation and approved. No lights may be strung from any pipes or fire/safety equipment. Any violation of the above fire prevention regulations may be subject to fine and/or termination and removal of the Occupant from the Property. PETS: A$1000 fine will be charged to Occupant if there is any evidence of any pet inside the property unless Manager has given express written consent and a pet fee and pet deposit has been paid by Occupant. EVENTS, GATHERINGS, PARTIES. No events, special occasion hostings including but not limited to weddings, corporate functions, bridal parties or related events including inviting other persons not disclosed in the reservation guest count, shall be permitted on the property for any reason. A violation of this clause shall immediately cause the property manager to terminate the rental agreement and renter to immediately vacate the premises. Manager shall impose a fee of up to $5,000 for any violation of this provision, and if such event is either a wedding or similar ceremony or an event in which the number of Occupants doubles or more the guest count disclosed at the time of booking, such fee shall increase to $10,000, unless express written consent has been provided by Manager to Occupant. CLEANING, PESTS AND INCONVENIENCES: Occupant acknowledges and agrees that renting a home comes with certain risks that neither Manager nor Owner can prevent and as such will not result in any refunds or credits to Occupant shall they be discovered, viewed, endured or otherwise reported. Such examples include but are not limited to seeing pests, bugs, or rodents in the home, or minor cleaning complaints, which when feasible Manager will make a good faith effort to remediate, shall Occupant approve of the same during their stay. Any cleaning complaint shall be deemed minor except for any instance in which no cleaning took place prior to the guest arrival, the time and date of which is outlined in the confirmation of booking details. PERSONAL PROPERTY AND INJURY: Neither the owner(s) nor Duval Management are responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. Neither the Owner(s) nor Duval Management are responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the Guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise. INSURANCE: Occupant's or guests' personal property, including vehicles are not insured by DUVAL MANAGEMENT, homeowners, homeowners association, or DUVAL MANAGEMENT’s agents, against loss or damage due to fire, theft, vandalism, rain, water, criminal or negligent acts of others or any other cause. Neither DUVAL MANAGEMENT, homeowners, homeowner's association, or DUVAL MANAGEMENT’s agents, employs, directors or assigns, insures against personal injury to Occupant, occupants, guests, or licensees, due to any cause or reason. INDEMNITY AND HOLD HARMLESS: Occupant and any guests, invitee or licensee of occupant, for himself/herself, his/her heirs, assignors, executors and administrators, fully releases and discharges DUVAL MANAGEMENT, its founders, directors, employees, assignees, and Owner and agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless, Duval Management Ltd., Duval Management's founders, directors, employees, assignees and Owner, from all claims, disputes, litigation, judgments, costs and attorney fees resulting from loss, damage, theft or injury to Occupant, invitees or licensees of Occupant, or their personal property, arising out of or in connection with Occupant’s use and occupancy of the Premises, including the Pool and/or Water Spa, which is made, incurred or sustained by Occupant, other occupants, guests or licensees of Occupant. WAIVER OF JURY TRIAL. EACH PARTY HERETO ACKNOWLEDGES AND AGREES THAT ANY CONTROVERSY WHICH MAY ARISE UNDER THIS AGREEMENT IS LIKELY TO INVOLVE COMPLICATED AND DIFFICULT ISSUES AND, THEREFORE, EACH SUCH PARTY HEREBY IRREVOCABLY AND UNCONDITIONALLY WAIVES ANY RIGHT SUCH PARTY MAY HAVE TO A TRIAL BY JURY FOR ANY DISPUTE ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT OR THE BREACH, TERMINATION OR VALIDITY THEREOF OR ANY TRANSACTIONS CONTEMPLATED BY THIS AGREEMENT. EACH PARTY HERETO CERTIFIES AND ACKNOWLEDGES THAT (A)NONE OF THE OTHER PARTIES NOR ITS REPRESENTATIVES, AGENTS OR ATTORNEYS HAVE REPRESENTED, EXPRESSLY OR OTHERWISE, THAT SUCH OTHER PARTY WOULD NOT, IN THE EVENT OF LITIGATION, SEEK TO ENFORCE THE FOREGOING WAIVER, (B) EACH PARTY HERETO UNDERSTANDS AND HAS CONSIDERED THE IMPLICATIONS OF THIS WAIVER, (C) EACH PARTY HERETO MAKES THIS WAIVER VOLUNTARILY AND (D) EACH PARTY HERETO HAS BEEN INDUCED TO ENTER INTO THIS AGREEMENT BY, AMONG OTHER THINGS, THE MUTUAL WAIVERS AND CERTIFICATIONS OF THIS SECTION. ANY PARTY HERETO MAY CONFIDENTIALLY FILE AN ORIGINAL COUNTERPART OR A COPY OF THIS AGREEMENT WITH ANY COURT AS WRITTEN EVIDENCE OF THE CONSENT OF THE PARTIES TO THE WAIVER OF THEIR RIGHT TO TRIAL BY JURY. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: OCCUPANT ACKNOWLEDGES AND AGREES THAT CERTAIN CHARGES DESCRIBED HEREIN ARE A REASONABLE ESTIMATE OF DUVAL MANAGEMENT’S DAMAGES IN THE EVENT OF VIOLATIONS OR DEFAULT IN SUCH PROVISIONS OF THE AGREEMENT BY OCCUPANT. THE PAYMENT OF SUCH AMOUNTS AS LIQUIDATED DAMAGES IS NOT INTENDED AS A FORFEITURE OR PENALTY, BUT IS INTENDED TO CONSTITUTE LIQUIDATED DAMAGES TO DUVAL MANAGEMENT. NOTHING IN THE AGREEMENT WILL, HOWEVER, BE DEEMED TO LIMIT OCCUPANT'S LIABILITY TO DUVAL MANAGEMENT FOR DAMAGES OR INJUNCTIVE RELIEF FOR BREACH OF OCCUPANT’S INDEMNITY OBLIGATIONS UNDER THE AGREEMENT, FOR ATTORNEYS' FEES AND COSTS AS PROVIDED IN THE AGREEMENT, CLAIMS MADE AGAINST DUVAL MANAGEMENT BY THIRD PERSONS WHERE THE CLAIMS ARE A RESULT OF A DEFAULT BY OCCUPANT UNDER THE TERMS OF THE AGREEMENT. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: In the event of any claim for damages against DUVAL MANAGEMENT for any reason, whether based on breach of contract or tort, any recovery shall be limited to reimbursement of all sums actually paid by Occupant to DUVAL MANAGEMENT. Under no circumstances shall DUVAL MANAGEMENT be liable for and Occupant hereby waives any claim for consequential, punitive and/or exemplary damages. DUVAL MANAGEMENT shall not be liable for events beyond their control that may interfere with Occupant’s occupancy, including but not limited to Acts of God, acts of governmental agencies, fire, strikes, war, or inclement weather. NO REFUND will be offered in these circumstances. JOINT AND INDIVIDUAL OBLIGATIONS: If there is more than one occupant over the age of 18, each one shall be responsible for the performance of all obligations under the Agreement, jointly and individually with every other occupant. Partial Invalidity. Whenever possible, each provision of this Agreement shall be interpreted in such manner as to be effective and valid under applicable Law as well as the Airbnb Terms of Service (https://www.airbnb.com/terms), but in case any one or more of the provisions contained in this Agreement shall, for any reason, be held to be invalid, illegal, unenforceable in any respect or otherwise contradicts the Airbnb Terms of Service causing any loss of coverage under the Airbnb Host Protection Insurance policy, such invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability shall not affect any other provisions of this Agreement, and this Agreement shall be construed as if such invalid, illegal, or unenforceable provision or provisions had never been contained herein unless the deletion of such provision or provisions would result in such a material change as to cause completion of the transactions contemplated hereby to be unreasonable. To the extent the deemed deletion of the invalid, illegal or unenforceable provision or provisions is reasonably likely to have a Material Adverse Effect, the Parties shall endeavour in good faith to replace the invalid, illegal or unenforceable provisions with valid provisions the economic effect of which comes as close as practicable to that of the invalid, illegal or unenforceable provisions.

The place was great and it was just like the pictures. The ski in and ski out was excellent. It made the trip so easy with everyone coming and going! The kitchen was very well equipped and if you have young babies or kids it was a great house for that!

We so enjoyed our time at Big White staying at Michael's place. It was very comfy, warm and roomy for our party of five. Would have preferred an outdoor hot tub, but the tub itself was super convenient, very functional, and put to very good use! The fireplace made the house super cozy! You can tell when a place is actually used by the owners and not just rented out. This place clearly hosts a lot of family gatherings. The practical choices of how to make a home comfortable and livable are evident here. We loved doing puzzles on the large coffee table, and the choices of comfy chairs, blankets and
pillows to made gathering in the living spaces welcoming. We very much enjoyed our first trip to Big White with great skiing and a wonderful place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the Skiers' Doorstep and it really was a Skiers' Doorstep! A 30 second walk and we were on the slopes leading The Bullet Express chair lift - perfect for keen skiers. The unit was extremely clean, and had plenty of space. All the rooms were very comfortable. The hot tub space was well maintained and clean. The kitchen was fully kitted out and had all the utensils you could wish for. Michael and Danielle were always reachable and helped us with any queries we had. It was a pleasure to stay there and we will definitely be returning next year!
