Additional cars should park in the Happy Valley overflow parking lot at a cost of $20 per night or $100 per week. Permits must be purchased from Big White Central Mountain Check-In (winter only).
No street parking is permitted at Big White in winter.

Damage Protection:
Please note, as a software connected property management company, we require damage protection for all reservations to help keep operations running smoothly. You can choose between a smart damage waiver or a refundable security deposit.

1) Smart Damage Waiver – covers accidental damage up to $3,000. No deposit hold required.
or
2) Refundable Security Deposit ($3,000) – temporary hold, automatically released within 7 days after checkout, subject to inspection.

Note: The waiver covers accidental damage only. It does not cover smoking, intentional damage, negligence, policy violations, pet issues, or unregistered guests. In these cases, related costs may be charged to you in accordance with the booking platform’s policies and our guest agreement.

Feathertop is Big White's most prestigious address - a private, low-density neighbourhood of luxury chalets tucked into the mountainside above the Village Centre. The area sits between two runs, Sundance and Millie's Mile, giving residents natural slope-side access in both directions and effortless reach to two chairlifts and the iconic yellow gondola.

The Village Centre is a short walk away, with restaurants, bars, ski rentals, a grocery store, and everything else you need for a week on the mountain. Happy Valley - home to the tube park, ice skating, and Big White's après-ski scene - is a quick gondola ride down from the village.

Feathertop's combination of slope-side access, Monashee Mountain views, and proximity to the village makes it the most sought-after location on the mountain.

Guests have full access to the entire Lodge, all decks, the private hot tub, sauna, ski room, and garage.

- Consumables provided: toilet paper, paper towel, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, coffee, coffee filters, garbage bags, dish soap, hand soap, and laundry detergent, etc.

Ski Access:
- The Lodge sits directly on Millie's Mile: step out the back door, click in, and go. A dedicated ski locker, change room, and boot dryers are located at the back entrance.
- The Big White Village: Restaurants, shops, rentals, and Lara's Gondola - is a short walk away.

Parking:
- 3-car attached garage plus additional surface parking for up to 6 vehicles total.

Summer at Big White:
- The Bullet Chair runs for sightseeing and mountain biking in summer - just a short pedal from the Lodge. The village stays open with hiking, dining, and events throughout the season.

Big White is a self-contained ski resort village - once you're here, you don't need a car. The slopes, village amenities, restaurants, and activities are all accessible on foot or on skis.

Getting to Big White:
- Kelowna International Airport (YLW) is approximately 56 km away - roughly a one-hour drive up the mountain. Car rental or a shuttle service from the airport is recommended.
- Direct flights into Kelowna are available from major Canadian cities as well as Los Angeles via Alaska Airlines, making the Lodge accessible for destination trips.
- If driving, the Lodge has parking for up to 5 vehicles including a 3-car heated garage - no scrambling for spots after a long drive up. The road to Big White is a mountain highway and can be steep and icy in winter - we strongly recommend a 4x4 or AWD vehicle with winter tires.

On the mountain, Big White typically operates a free resort shuttle throughout the village and surrounding neighbourhoods each season - we recommend confirming availability and routes closer to your arrival date.

• Additional: House Rules: - No parties or events. This home is for quiet, respectful enjoyment. - Registered guests only. Anyone not on the reservation must be approved in advance. - No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property. Violations may incur a $400 remediation fee and additional deep-cleaning costs if needed. - Quiet hours: 10 pm – 7 am (or as per local bylaws). Please keep music, TV, voices, and outdoor noise low. - Respect the property. Guests are responsible for damage beyond normal wear and for excessive mess. - Kitchen use. Please clean as you go, rinse dishes, and load/run the dishwasher before checkout. Don’t leave food out. - Trash & recycling. Use the provided bins and follow local guidelines ( if bins are full, please use the Transfer Station) . Excessive trash or loose bagging may result in extra cleaning charges. Pets (pre-approval required): - Pets must be pre-approved and supervised at all times. - No pets on furniture or beds. - Pick up all waste. Pet clean-up fee $100 if left behind. - Excess hair or odors may require up to $400 in additional cleaning. Unregistered pets: $200 per pet. Additional Guests & Security: - The maximum guest count must match your reservation. - Unregistered guests: $50 per person per night. - For security and occupancy verification, outdoor cameras monitor entry points only. No cameras are inside the home. Maintenance & Access: - Emergencies may require entry without notice. - For non-emergencies, we will always provide notice when possible. Fees and potential charges (disclosed up front): - Late checkout without prior approval (after 11 am): $150 - Early check-in or late checkout (if available): $65 - $125 - Excessive cleaning (very poor condition): up to $1,500 - Deep cleaning for grease, damage, or staining: $500 - BBQ/grill/smoker not cleaned after use: $100 - Unapproved extra guests: $50/person/night - Lost key/FOB/Parking Pass: $175 Forgotten Items: - We cannot store them. If shipping is requested, $65 handling plus postage. Items may be discarded after 48 hours. Check-Out Basics: - Start the dishwasher, collect trash/recycling into the correct bins, return furniture/items to original places, turn off lights, lock doors and windows. Liability & Legal Notes: -You are responsible for your group, including children and pets. -The owner is not liable for personal injury, loss, or improper use of the property or amenities. -Where there are shared spaces (e.g., strata/common areas), please supervise children and pets and be respectful of others. -Please report any damage or issues promptly to prevent further costs. Compliance: - Serious or repeated violations may result in cancellation of the stay without refund and charges for costs incurred via Airbnb’s Resolution Center.
