Ski access: Ski in off the Serwa's run via the cat track toward the back covered patio and ski storage locker. To ski out, it is a short walk across the road to the cat track, where you clip in and ski down to the base of the Ridge Rocket Express, Snow Ghost, and Plaza chairs.
Winter tires or chains are required on Big White Road in winter.

Snow Pines Estates is one of Big White's most relaxed neighbourhoods, set just away from the village centre for a quieter, more private stay. You get ski access toward the Snowghost and Ridge Rocket Express chairs via a cat track on Lower Snowpines, and the village is an easy walk along the Snow Pines trail or a quick ride on the free resort shuttle.

The village centre is the hub for dining and essentials, with restaurants, pubs, a market, and rental and ticket facilities. Down in Happy Valley you will find Big White's family activities, including the tube park, Canada's highest outdoor skating rink, dog sledding, and sleigh rides. With 2,765 acres of terrain and an average of around 750 cm of snow a year, Big White is one of BC's premier ski destinations - and just as good in summer for hiking and biking.

Set over four levels, the layout just works for a ski trip. You come in at the entry to a proper mudroom with hooks and benches for all your gear and direct access to the garage, so wet boots and skis never make it into the living space. Up one level you will find the bedrooms and two full bathrooms, including a generous ensuite off the master. Up again is the showpiece: a soaring vaulted great room with a stone gas fireplace, an open dining area, and a beautiful kitchen with high-end appliances and an island eating bar, all framed by big windows that pull in the mountain views. There is even a full bathroom on this level, right by the hot tub door. Finally, the top level opens into a media and family loft, a great hideaway for the kids or a quiet second living space for the adults.

After a day on the slopes, step out to your covered back patio and sink into your private hot tub while the snow falls around you. It is the best seat in the house.

Ski access here is easy. You ski in off the Serwa's run via the cat track, bringing you within a short walk of the home. To head back out in the morning, it is a quick walk across the road to clip in, and you are away down to the Ridge Rocket Express, Snow Ghost, and Plaza chairs. When you would rather leave the skis at home, the village is a short walk, a free shuttle, or about a 5 minute drive away.

Village Proximity - The village is a 10-15 minute walk under a beautiful lit path or a quick shuttle ride away, where you will find a grocery store, restaurants, pubs, boutiques, ski gear shops, ski school, rentals, a spa, and more.
Happy Valley - Take the free Gondola down to Happy Valley, a family-friendly area packed with activities: beginner ski hills with the Magic Carpet for the little ones, a skating rink, the snow tube park, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing trails, and plenty more. Ride the Gondola back up when you are ready to relax at home.

Big White is about an hour's drive (roughly 56 km) from Kelowna and Kelowna International Airport via Highway 33. A vehicle is the easiest way up, and we recommend stocking up on groceries in Kelowna before you head to the mountain. Winter tires (or chains) are required on Big White Road in the winter months, so please come prepared.

Once you are on the mountain, you can leave the car parked. The free resort shuttle and the lit walking trails connect Snow Pines to the village and the lifts, so getting around is simple. Parking for three vehicles is included - one in the garage and two in the driveway.

• Additional: House Rules: - No parties or events. This home is for quiet, respectful enjoyment. - Registered guests only. Anyone not on the reservation must be approved in advance. - No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property. Violations may incur a $400 remediation fee and additional deep-cleaning costs if needed. - Quiet hours: 10 pm – 7 am (or as per local bylaws). Please keep music, TV, voices, and outdoor noise low. - Respect the property. Guests are responsible for damage beyond normal wear and for excessive mess. - Kitchen use. Please clean as you go, rinse dishes, and load/run the dishwasher before checkout. Don’t leave food out. - Trash & recycling. Use the provided bins and follow local guidelines ( if bins are full, please use the Transfer Station) . Excessive trash or loose bagging may result in extra cleaning charges. Pets (pre-approval required): - Pets must be pre-approved and supervised at all times. - No pets on furniture or beds. - Pick up all waste. Pet clean-up fee $100 if left behind. - Excess hair or odors may require up to $400 in additional cleaning. Unregistered pets: $200 per pet. Additional Guests & Security: - The maximum guest count must match your reservation. - Unregistered guests: $50 per person per night. - For security and occupancy verification, outdoor cameras monitor entry points only. No cameras are inside the home. Maintenance & Access: - Emergencies may require entry without notice. - For non-emergencies, we will always provide notice when possible. Fees and potential charges (disclosed up front): - Late checkout without prior approval (after 11 am): $150 - Early check-in or late checkout (if available): $65 - $125 - Excessive cleaning (very poor condition): up to $1,000 - Deep cleaning for grease, damage, or staining: $500 - BBQ/grill/smoker not cleaned after use: $100 - Unapproved extra guests: $50/person/night - Lost key/FOB/Parking Pass: $175 Forgotten Items: - We cannot store them. If shipping is requested, $65 handling plus postage. Items may be discarded after 48 hours. Check-Out Basics: - Start the dishwasher, collect trash/recycling into the correct bins, return furniture/items to original places, turn off lights, lock doors and windows.
